Talk given at the institute for information law and commercial law, University of Karlsruhe
Abstract
Based on concepts and methods from the field of New Institutional Economics, an abstract and theoretically founded basis is developed for the field of organization-internal information security. The resulting model explains historical developments and allows for a prospective analysis of future challenges. Normative arguments are developed with regards to future approaches to organization-internal information security and with regards to the future design of the respective regulatory framework.
