Elaboration about free WLAN-Networks
Abstract
Elaborates on the development of Free Networks. Using a number of examples, common attributes of Free Networks are identified. The latest statistics about Internet usage are consulted, in order to find out to what extent the Information Society has become reality today. Folowing this evaluation, the ability of Free Networks, to influence the future development of a global Information Society, is rated. The pre-condition for the co-operation of free network peers, the Pico Peering Agreement is also covered in detail, as well as the influence of other free communities to the development of Free Networks.
